Biography & Education

Tina Jamegarmi began studying music with the traditional instrument “Santoor” at the early age of 6. She expanded her musical range at the age of 10 by adding classical music and violin to her studies in music school, followed by piano at the age of 14.

Master Degree in Music Performance (Violin) - University of Art, Tehran.
Bachelor Degree in Music Performance (Violin) - University of Tehran.

Masterclasses

Participated in masterclasses with renowned musicians such as Erish Hadrer, Ruben Kosemian, Aram Talalian, Ali Rahbari, and Cihat Askin.

Scheherazade String Quartet

Shahrzad quartet was founded by 4 graduated girls from music school based. In the spring of 2012, "string quartet" and "Gorgani sextet" composed by Dr. Mohammad Saeed Sharifian were recorded and published in "To the Earth and Sun" CD. In the summer of 2012, maestro Shahrdad Rohani composed 12 pieces specifically for this quartet, recorded and mixed in the USA, published by Avaye Barbod.

2010 - 2012: Soprano in Acapella Group called "Tehran Vocal Ensemble," conducted by Milad Omanloo, published an album called Vocapella, received a prize from Girizia Music Festival (Italy).
2010: Played Lalo violin concerto as soloist with Youth Symphony Orchestra.
2000 - Present: Played and recorded in many albums, pop music, movie soundtracks, and more.
